UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE KENYA GOVERNMENT
Dear Soroptimist sisters from Africa and beyond,
I am pleased to welcome you to the 4th Biennial Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Soroptimist International Africa Federation (SIAF), to be held from 25–27 September 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya. As the newly elected President of SIAF, I warmly invite you to Nairobi for this important gathering under the theme: “LEADING THE WAY: TO EMPOWERMENT & SUSTAINABILITY IN AFRICA & BEYOND.”
This theme reflects our shared commitment to leadership, empowerment, and sustainable progress for women and girls across Africa and beyond. At a time of rapid change, Soroptimist leadership remains vital. The Conference and AGM will bring members together to review the Federation’s progress, strengthen governance, and engage in focused discussions on our strategic priorities.
Details on the programme, speakers, registration, accommodation, and logistics will be shared through official communications and the conference website. The electronic registration link, including early-bird options, will be announced shortly.
I encourage all Soroptimist sisters to attend and actively participate. Your voice and engagement are essential to shaping our collective impact. We look forward to welcoming you to Nairobi and sharing in the spirit of sisterhood that defines Soroptimist International.
With Soroptimist regards,
Mary Muia
