Dear Soroptimists of the African Federation,
It is a pleasure to send my warmest greetings to everyone attending the African Federation conference and AGM in Nairobi. I look forward to joining you there in person.
This conference holds particular significance for me, as I was serving as Federation President when the final steps were taken towards the establishment of the African Federation. Seeing your Federation come together once again for this important occasion means a great deal to me personally.
Conferences provide an opportunity to reflect on progress, exchange ideas, strengthen friendships, and look ahead together. They also reaffirm our shared commitment to improving the lives of all women and girls through service, educational and empowering projects, advocacy, and international cooperation.
As we begin Soroptimist International's new Focus Theme, Her Health – Our Future, I hope your discussions in Nairobi will open new avenues for the Federation's work and inspire renewed energy for the months ahead.
I very much look forward to meeting many of you in Nairobi and wish you all a productive, enjoyable, and successful conference.

I am pleased to welcome you to the 4th Biennial Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Soroptimist International Africa Federation (SIAF), to be held from 25–27 September 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya. As the newly elected President of SIAF, I warmly invite you to Nairobi for this important gathering under the theme: “LEADING THE WAY: TO EMPOWERMENT & SUSTAINABILITY IN AFRICA & BEYOND.”
This theme reflects our shared commitment to leadership, empowerment, and sustainable progress for women and girls across Africa and beyond. At a time of rapid change, Soroptimist leadership remains vital. The Conference and AGM will bring members together to review the Federation’s progress, strengthen governance, and engage in focused discussions on our strategic priorities.
